The Qs Informatica Configuratore is an extremely versatile, highly customisable tool. Three different modules can be used to create and customise commercial offers and BOMs or to configure CAD drawings quickly and intuitively.
The Qs Informatica Configuratore is an extremely versatile, highly customisable tool. Three different modules can be used to create and customise commercial offers and BOMs or to configure CAD drawings quickly and intuitively.
Configuratore speeds up the workflow and reduces errors when drawing up commercial offers and drafting CAD drawings. Three modules can be used to set up the configurator with advanced interface, menu and layout customisation. They also allow for easy data entry and then automatically publish the final documents or drawings.
The first step is to set up the dedicated interface so that the user can create all the selection menus and all possible combinations, as well as several document layouts or CAD specifications.
The author module is certainly the heart of the product, as well as being the most complex task to be performed internally, but the more sophisticated the interface, the more accurate the final result will be.
The second step is to configure the user module, which is done by an appointed person within the company, such as a salesperson or technician.
The user enters all the data required for setup (based on the inputs requested when customising the author module) and then simply gives final confirmation after checking that the parameters are correct.
The last publication step is automatic: the software processes the user’s data and choices and delivers a result based on the author’s settings.
The result can be either a commercial offer in doc/PDF format or a 2D or 3D drawing with the corresponding parts list.
The configurator is a desktop solution that can be installed on a Windows operating system. Configuration on web platforms that have been developed by the customer in cooperation with our software house is also available.
